Shady Acres Ella Boulevard Esplanade Project

Shady Acres Civic Club is currently trying to find a solution to create beautiful esplanades on Ella Blvd that will greatly improve the looks of our neighborhood.

Our first challenge is to get water in the esplenades so a sprinkler system can be used.

Phase 1

I have contacted Ellen Cohen, our new City Counil representative, to see if she can get the city to install water access to these esplenades. Once we get water we can have a sprinkler system installed and adopt these esplenades to landscape them. Ideally we want the city to install water so that the Civic Club does not have to pay the monthly water bill which could be very costly with our limited Civic Club funds.

12-20-11 - First email sent with no response

12-29-11 - 2nd email sent - Informed that Ellen Cohen's office will be in contact with me after she officially takes office on Jan 3rd

Phase 2 - Install sprinkler systems, get bids on landscaping and initiate a fund raising project.

Phase 3 - Install landscaping 1 esplanade at a time as funds permit and hire a maintenance company to take care of our landscape investment.
